Giving Your Sorrel an Extra Kick

Sorrel and Organic GingerOne of the main ingredients you don’t want to forget when making your all-natural sorrel drink, is ginger root. That is what’s going to give it that extra kick. If you’reĀ  making it for small children or those who don’t drink alcohol, the ginger will make up for the non-alcohol taste.

Adding a few pimento seeds to the sorrel when making it, will also give it a nice flavor. Pimento seeds are commonly used, especially in the Caribbean, to season dishes such as jerk chicken, curried goat, and pepper pickles. The pimento also adds a great taste to stews, fish, soups, and many other dishes. Pimento is also well-known for its medicinal purposes.
