Today was a great day at the park. Something about the December weather just made everything felt so magical. Even the birds and squirrels were happy today. The leaves were falling from the trees as the wind swept through the leaves.
I couldn’t resist picking a small flower and taking a photo of it. How beautiful all the little petals looked.
I sat down on a bench and watched the birds hunt for their food in the nearby lake. It was so peaceful, almost like I was with friends. Somebody seemed to have found a catch in the water.
The birds seemed quite friendly and a few walked up close to me so I could get some closeup pics. They are some gorgeous birds with their pink beaks and legs.
The beauty of nature continued. I just sat and watched the flock of birds wandered off to the next adventure of the day. I suddenly realized that there was a different colored bird happily strutting along with the rest of the flock, with no care in the world about his unique feathers.
On a day like this while walking in the park, I feel like I’ve achieved something, something like maybe nature gave me a little gift just for walking this December morning. Taking photos on my nature trail walks is becoming a strong passion of mine. I also might throw in a short video of cute bird sounds or other intriguing things I see around me. They may not be professional pics, but they’re good enough to capture the moment.
After sitting for a while watching the birds, I decided to take a stroll around some other trails to see what magical photos I could capture. The thing with finding great photos while on my nature walk, is I have to look keenly, no rush, just scan around me carefully to spot any usual things to take pictures of.
So, I’m walking and scanning my surroundings for nice pictures to take. Suddenly, my eyes spotted something. Yes! I think I’ve found another great picture for the day, a spider in the middle of his castle, waiting for a prey.
I left the park feeling like I won a few special prizes. Yes, today was a great day on my nature trail walk. You never know what you’re going to see when you visit mother nature. Just make sure that you have your camera with you and ready to snap a memory or two.
